Homer Hathaway, 84, died Saturday, Mar. 31, 2001, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Grantsville, the son of the late Sida H. and Matilda Summers Hathaway. He retired as a truck driver from Helms Express after 27 years of service. Following retirement, he worked for his son at Superior Toyota, Parkersburg. He was a member of Teamsters Local 175 and was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene where he was a Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Hathaway; one son, Tom Hathaway of Parkersburg; one daughter, Janet Snook of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was the last surviving and youngest of 15 children, including eight brothers and six sisters.

Services were held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
