1 Michael "Micky" D. Masuth Jr., 36, of 16780 State Line Road, died at 6:35 AM Tuesday (Feb. 15, 2005) at his home, following an extended illness. He was born April 21, 1968, in Elkhart to Michael D. and Eleanor C. (Krontz) Masuth Sr. He is survived by a son, Cody Masuth of Elkhart; a daughter, Autumn Masuth of Edwardsburg; his mother, Ellie Masuth Denny of Union; his grandmother, Margie Close of Weston, W. Va.; and his former wife, Tracy Banghart of Edwardsburg. His father preceded him in death one month ago.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, where services will be at 1 PM Saturday. The Rev. James Pettit of First Baptist Church in Elkhart will officiate. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery, Union, at a later date. Condolences can be sent online at www.stemmlawsonpeterson.com. Mr. Masuth worked for Carlton Customized Cleaning in Three Rivers prior to becoming disabled. He also worked for Vincent Bach Co. in Elkhart. He attended First Baptist Church and the Three Rivers Hospital Gym. His interests included dogs and restoring cars.
