² Luther O. Littler, a well known young man of this city, died at his home, 19 1/2 East Fourth St., Thursday morning at 4:30 o'clock. The decedent had been in ill health for three months during which time he had suffered with a distressing attack of whooping cough. Saturday morning he was taken to his bed and grew gradually worse until relieved by death, his demise resulting from a development of the cough turning into lung fever. Mr. Littler was born east of the city Jan.30, 1867. He was the son of Mrs. Sarah Littler, who survives him. He was united in marriage Aug. 8, 1889 to Miss Estella Sackman, who died May 22, 1894. His father, Jacob Littler, died Sept 20, 1888. Luther was identified with the Ohio Laundry several years, for which concern he acted as driver. He was a member of Madison Lodge No. 26, Knights of Pythias, this order to have charge of the funeral services at his late home 2 PM Sunday, May 24, the Rev. O. D. Baltzly officiating.
