bullet  General Notes:

(Source: Winona Daily Republican, 1924 Oct 08, page 11)

A very serious accident happened to Julius Kramer last Saturday. While cutting brush for Henry W. Shrake in some way he got near to Joe Drugan who is also cutting brush for Shrake and got his foot cut so bad that (Mr. or Dr. ?) Hutchins had to take fourteen stitches to sew up the wound. This will lay up Mr. Kramer for at least two months.

NOTE - Joe Drugan was a brother-in-law to Henry Shrake who had married Margaret Drugan. Although Julius Kramer was not directed related to Joseph or Margaret Drugan, he was related to another side of the Drugan family that descended through Patrick Drugan. Joseph Drugan descended through Andrew Drugan, a brother to Patrick.
