Lena was living with her son, Thomas, in the home of her widowed mother according to the 1880 census. She was shown as married but the husband, James Gannon, was not listed. After Lena and her husband were divorced sometime after 1880, the youngest son, Thomas S. Gannon, continued to live with the grandmother (Sarah Hanson). He is shown with the grandmother in the 1900 US Census and the 1905 Wisconsin State Census. His mother, Lena Hanson, was remarried in 1888 in Colorado and moved to New York with her new husband, Phillip Arbenger. |
