  General Notes:

City Clerk W. J. Arbenger yesterday sent greetings to his mother, Mrs. Lena Arbenger, who today will note her 94th birthday.

She is residing with her daughter, Mrs. O. M. Nord, the former Buelah Arbenger, at Harlinger Field, Texas.

Mrs. Arbenger, born in Oslo, Norway, in 1851, came to America as a child. She moved to Plattsburgh in 1894, accompanying her husband, the late Philip Arbenger, who was with the Q.M. unit of the 21st U. S. Infantry.

On Dec. 7, 1941, Mrs. Arbenger was at Pearl Harbor, where her son-in-law Chief W. O. Nord, was stationed. She accompanied him and her daughter to St. Paul and later moved to Texas. She is enjoying good health.

After Lena and her husband were divorced sometime after 1880, the youngest son, Thomas S. Gannon, continued to live with the grandmother (Sarah Hanson). He is shown with the grandmother in the 1900 US Census and the 1905 Wisconsin State Census. His mother, Lena Hanson, was remarried in 1888 in Colorado and moved to New York with her new husband, Phillip Arbenger.
