City Clerk W. J. Arbenger yesterday sent greetings to his mother, Mrs. Lena Arbenger, who today will note her 94th birthday.

She is residing with her daughter, Mrs. O. M. Nord, the former Buelah Arbenger, at Harlinger Field, Texas.

Mrs. Arbenger, born in Oslo, Norway, in 1851, came to America as a child. She moved to Plattsburgh in 1894, accompanying her husband, the late Philip Arbenger, who was with the Q.M. unit of the 21st U. S. Infantry.

On Dec. 7, 1941, Mrs. Arbenger was at Pearl Harbor, where her son-in-law Chief W. O. Nord, was stationed. She accompanied him and her daughter to St. Paul and later moved to Texas. She is enjoying good health.
