Pat. Drugan and Matt. Lorbiecki who were arrested last evening and charged with being drunk, were each this morning fined $5 or five days in the county jail.

MAN ACTS LIKE DOG
Racine, Wis. -- Patrick Drugan, who says he is from Trempealeau, Wis., appeared in the northern part of this city last night, acting strangely. He terrified people by snapping and biting at them and frothing at the mouth. When men approached him he ran like a deer, secreting himself in a cornfield.

The police captured him and took him to jail, where he continued his strange actions. He says three weeks ago he was bitten by a dog. He is believed to be suffering from hydrophobia.
