Mrs. Wm. A. Possin Laid To Rest Wednesday
The entire community was grieved to hear of the rather sudden demise of Mrs. Wm. A. Possin. She suddenly passed away Sunday afternoon at Immanuel hospital, where she had been taken just a few days previous Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from St. John Lutheran church, the Rev. Walter H. Bouman, pastor, officiating. Interment took place in Memorial Cemetery.

The deceased, Dora, a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Tischer, was born in Schlattau Selesia, Germany. At the age of four she came to America with her parents and settled in Rapidan township. She was confirmed with the class of 1894 by Rev. John Grabarkewitz. On January 30, 1902, she was united in marriage with William A. Possin of this community. One daughter, Irma was born to this union.

During her many years of residence here Mrs. Possin was a member of Saint John church, a member for many years of the Ladies Aid Society, always a willing, ready and hard worker. Mrs. Possin suffered a stroke on April 24th and died at Immanuel hospital May 3.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Whitney of Lake Crystal; one grandson, John of Kenyon; two brothers, Herman of New Ulm, and Ernest of Arcadia, California, and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Sperlich Sr., of Saint Paul; 4 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is one sister, Mrs. Robert Missling and 1 grandson, Duane Whitney.
