³ Plattsburgh - Mrs. Joan Marie (Arbenger) Ashline, 61, of the Robert S. Long Apartments, died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born in Plattsburgh on July 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter J. and Madeline (Zoll) Arbenger.

Joan is survived by a son, Jon Ashline; a sister, Doris O'Connell of Plattsburgh; a sister-in-law, Ruby Arbenger of Plattsburgh; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Richard S. Arbenger.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 8, 2001, from 10 to 11 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Sorensen, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, officiating. Following cremation, interment will be in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery.
