The body of Maj. E. A. O'Dell, 84, of 4504 Thirty-second St., a retired grocer and building contractor, will lie in state at the Lewis mortuary this afternoon from 3 to 6.

The mass of requiem will be offered in Saint Didicus Church tomorrow morning at 8.

Maj. O'Dell was born in Forestville, Minn, and had lived in San Diego 25 years. He leaves no relatives here. He died Tuesday.
