The 1905 Wisconsin State Census shows his middle initial as "E".

The 1910 US Census gives his middle initial as "F".

The 1917/1918 World War I Draft Registration card shows his middle name as Irvin.

The 1920 US Census shows his middle initial as "I".

The 1929 birth record for his son, Joseph, shows his middle name as Irvan.

The 1930 US Census shows his middle initial as what appears to be the letter "M".

Cemetery #3 is the largest and was purchased by the Catholic Archdiocese in 1981 and was previously known as Roselawn Cemetery.

5 MARK AND EDMUND KEEFE

Trempealeau, Wis. -- (Special) -- Two brothers, Mark and Edmund Keefe, former residents here, died recently within a day of each other.

Mark Keefe, 56, San Antonio, Tex., died Jan 1 at his home following a heart attack. He was born July 9, 1900, and was a graduate of Trempealeau High School. He had been employed as a telegrapher with the Chicago Northwestern Railway.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter and four sons.

Edmund Keefe, 63, Madison, died Jan. 2 at a Madison hospital where he had undergone surgery. Born April 18, 1893, he also graduated from the local high school and had been employed by the Chicago Northwestern Railway as a train dispatcher. He had been employed by the railway for 47 years.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, and several grandchildren.

They were the sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Keefe, pioneer Trempealeau residents.

Both men are survived by two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Wardwell, Trempealeau, and Sister Mary Eileen, Sparta, Wis.; a brother, P. M. Keefe, Wausau, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
