Mary married Elias Shuey, son of Hiram Shuey and Emma Logan, on 18 February 1902 in Putnam County, MO.1 (Elias Shuey was born on 1 March 1881 in Ravanna Township, Mercer County, MO 1 and died on 20 March 1971 in Unionville, MO 1.)   Marriage Notes: Elias and Katie's children were not born in Unionville, except for their youngest, Mary. The seven oldest were born on a farm near Lucerne, Missouri. They moved to Unionville in the spring of 1923. The farm, 160 acres, was given to them by Katie's father, William Barkley when they were married. ----------------------------------------
