There was another person named John Leake Pitts born on the same exact day of 1 Sep 1884. That person has a World War II Draft Registration Card which shows that he was born in Cumberland County, VA, had a wife named Mary, and was working in the Garland-Pitts Drug Store in Roanoke, VA. I don't think these are the same person. ![]()
