 General Notes:
The 1900 census document clearly lists a daughter named Pearled with a birth date of August 1897 and an age of 2. The 1897 does look somewhat like 1877 but the handwriting of the enumerator was consistent on the entire document in that the 9s tended to look like a 7. Given that the children were all listed in correct order, it seems safe to assume that her birth year was 1897.
