Mr. Edgar J. Shanabrook of College Hill was host at a farewell dinner party given at Mariemont Inn last night in honor of his son, Mr. Fred Shanabrook of Amelia, Ohio, who recently enlisted in the navy. Mr. Shanabrook, who will leave Tuesday to assume his new duties will be stationed temporarily at Norfolk, Va. The following were among those participating in the festivities: Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Remhold and their three children, Harold, Ellen, and Chrissy; Mr, and Mrs. Charles S. Shanabrook and their son, Edgar; Dr. and Mrs. H. L. Haller and their two children, Herbert and Frances, of Washington, D. C, and Mrs. Fred Shanabrook and Miss Jerry Shanabrook, wife and daughter, respectively, of the honored guest.
