She was born June 4, 1894 in Tripp, S. D., the daughter of Albert H. Rands and Letitia Jane Arnesberger. She was married in Portland, Ore., Dec. 9, 1914.

She is survived by her widower, two daughters, Mrs. Edna Burns, St. Anthony, Mrs. Dixie Gilpatrick, Beaverton, Ore., a sister Clora Lembach, Madras, Ores., four grandchildren and one great grandson.
