Lenore Booher, 91, of Millstone, died Saturday, Mar. 15, 2003, in Saint Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

She was born in Calhoun, the daughter of the late Chapman Ray and Nona Stalnaker Johnson. She was a 1930 graduate of Calhoun County High School and retired with 35 years of service as a registrar from Calhoun County Health Dept. She was a member of WV Retired Employees Association, Order of Eastern Star, Grantsville, The White Shrine, Rebecca Lodge, Grantsville, and Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church, Grantsville.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Booher; one daughter, Judy Chalfant of Fredericksburg, Va.; one daughter-in-law, Oleva Gainer of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; one brother, Morford Johnson of Vienna; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Gainer; one son, Larry Gainer; and one granddaughter, Pamela Martin.

Services were scheduled Wednesday, 11 AM, at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Mary Zimmer officiating, and burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.
