Richard Douglas "Johnny" Bower, 57, of Canton, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 1 5, 2001.
He was born in Big Bend, the son of the late Forest C. and Opal Jane Williams Bower. He was a graduate of Ripley High School.
Surviving are five brothers, Forest C. "Bud" Bower of Grafton, Ohio, Kenneth Bower of Cleveland, Ohio, and Marvin "Buck" Bower, Jessie Bower and Mitchell Bower, all of Evans; seven sisters, Sharon Harden and Phyllis Lewis, both of Louisville, Ohio, Gloria King and Beverly King, both of Evans, Janet Clark of Cottageville, Shirley Lieving of Grove City, Ohio, and Roberta Sue Prouty of Johnstown, Ohio; eight nephews; 11 nieces; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Wayne Bower.
Services were held at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Rev. Orville Walker officiating. Burial was in Creston Cemetery, Evans.
