Mildred Mae Kerby, 86, of Mt. Zion, died Thursday, Mar. 25, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born in Calhoun, the daughter of the late Miles W. and Rosa Lee Stump.
She was a 1935 graduate of Calhoun County High School and a founding member of Mt. Zion Public Service District. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Myla Fleming of Barboursville and Wauneta Waters of Cincinnati, Ohio; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, and Richard and Karen Kirby of Mt. Zion.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Willard (Pete) Kerby; one brother, Austin Stump; and one sister, Lillian Eberle.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Rick Swearingen officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, near Grantsville.
