William and "Minnie" were apparently enumerated twice for the 1930 US Census. Once was when they were both living with her parents and a second time when they were living by themselves with her 9 year old son, Thomas. It is not know where Thomas was living during the time of the first enumeration but was probably with his father at that time. Strangely, both enumeration were on the same day but in different parts of Chicago which may mean that the enumeration conducted at her parents' home may be for the wrong persons. The other enumeration is known to be correct because it included her son from her first marriage to Clement Lightfoot. |
