Parrie's first cousin, Paralee Mountjoy, who was born in 1870, shows the use of the nickname "Parrie" on her marriage license. It is quite probably therefore that Parrie Olive Mountjoy's real given name was also "Paralee" and that "Parrie" was a nickname probably used by both.
