FREEPORT, Ohio - George L. Gainer Jr., 46, of S. Main Street, Freeport died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 in Trinity Medical Center West. George was born Jan. 5, 1958 in Martins Ferry, the son of the late George L. and Ruby Bush Gainer Sr.
He was a self-employed mechanic and a Presbyterian by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George L. III. George is survived by his son, Craig Gainer of Rayland; his daughter, Dawn M. Gainer of Dillonvale; two brothers, Larry of Newark, Ohio and Duanne of Wintersville, Ohio; one sister, Kathie Ankrom of Bloomingdale, Ohio; and his girlfriend, Virginia Coffman.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio on Monday, from 12 noon until the time of services at 2 PM Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gainer family.
