  General Notes:

Myrle was a school teacher. She moved to Bemidji in 1905 and attended high school and college in Bemidji, receiving her teaching degree at Bemidji State College. She taught at Pinewood, Gonvick, Pennington, Lavinia, Wilton, Solway, Guthrie and Redlake. She was a charter member of Beltrami County Historical Society, the Bemidji County Historical Society and the Bemidji Women's Garden Club. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church, Bemidji Women's Study Club, Mother-Daughter Art Club, Homemakers Club, National Retired Teacher's and the local Paul Bunyan retired Teacher's Unit.
