Abraham Sr. was born March 2, 1749 in Bridgewater, Mass. He was baptized March 5, 1749 in North Bridgewater. This family appears to have lived in the Enfield section of Packardville speculation: could they have lived at the "D. Packard" site in the Enfield section of Packardville and about across the road from the Packardville Cemetery as shown on the 1860 Walling Map of Enfield? Source: Packard Genealogy, Alan D. Abraham Sr. was a cousin of Captain Lemuel Packard 1747-1822 of Bridgewater. Lemuel was Captain of Bridgewater Militia and Justice of the Peace, Lemuel was Captain of one of the two Bridgewater companies which stopped a mob from closing the court in Taunton in Sept. 1786.
