According to the Marriage Register of Eaton County, Michigan, this was the first marriage for Nevada Ramsey and the second marriage for George Van Ostrand. I believe that his first wife may have died because their daughter was sent to be raised by George's parents while he remarried in 1906. His daughter appears on the 1910 census living with George's parents.
