bullet  General Notes:

Daniel, Harriet, John, and Edward Marvin all moved from Michigan to McHenry County, Illinois by 1900. Daniel and John were both married in Illinois in 1899 and 1900 respectively but Harriet was married in Michigan in 1889. Edward must not have gotten along with his other brothers because he was boarding with and working as a farm laborer for a different family. Their father, Alexander, was living with John and his wife for the 1910 census but I have yet to locate him in the 1900 census. There may possibly be other siblings that also moved to McHenry County but I suspect most of the sisters may have already been married and either stayed back in Michigan or if they did move, I can't locate them because I don't know their married names.
