4 Robert R. Rollins, 82, of 1601 S. Palmetto Ave. was called to his eternal reward at 2:10 p.m. Dec. 20, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit. He was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital on Dec. 10, 1994. His death was due to complications of injuries sustained in a car accident in Wisconsin Rapids.
He was born May 20, 1912, to John and Clara (Schultz) Rollins, in the town of Fremont in Clark County. He attended Valley View School in the town of Fremont. He married Ann M. Matonich on Nov. 19, 1932, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville. He and his wife farmed in the town of Fremont until his retirement in 1975. They then moved to their present address in Marshfield. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1982 and also their 60th anniversary in 1992. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and the Marshfield Senior Citizens. He was a former member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Chili. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. During his retirement he enjoyed participating in the activities at the Senior Citizens Center of Marshfield.
