2 Ann M. Rollins, 94, of 1601 S. Palmetto Ave., died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, where her death was pronounced in the emergency room.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Bernard Raschke will officiate, and Suzanne Golden will be the organist for Sacred Heart Church Funeral Choir. A grandson, Mark Lavey, and a great-grandson, Kevin Schultz, will provide special music.

Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. A combined Sacred Heart Parish, Sacred Heart Parish Council of Catholic Women and Knights of Columbus Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rollins was born Aug. 2, 1913, in Aurora, Minn., the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn (Paun) Matonich. She married Robert Rollins on Nov. 19, 1932, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. He died Dec. 20, 1994. She and her husband farmed in the town of Fremont until their retirement in 1975. They then moved to Marshfield, where she resided until the present time. She also had been employed at Weyerhaeuser Company and at Figi's, both in Marshfield.

Ann enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, cake decorating, gardening and watching the Brewers and Packers. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women and participated in activities at the Marshfield Senior Center. In earlier years, while farming, she had been a member of the Homemakers Club.

She is survived by nine children, Duane (Rita) Rollins of Chili, Beverly (David) Lavey of Granton, Shirley Ann (Charles) Ress of Marshfield, Verlyn (Frieda) Rollins of Granton, Betty Lou (Donald) Mahoney of Loyal, Bonnie (Dale) Weber of Onalaska, Karen Pernsteiner of Marshfield, Jerry (Carol) Rollins of Osseo and Dennis (Sharon) Rollins of Spencer. She also is survived by 33 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three sisters, Mary Shinkus, Kathryn Enfield and Helen (Paul) Arnold, all of Wisconsin Rapids.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Marlene Wesenberg; a son-in-law, Thomas Pernsteiner; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
