• His obituary was published in October 2008 in Branson, MO. A Funeral Mass for Rodney Delane Gleason age 83 of Blue Eye, MO. will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson with Fr. Rick Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.

He died at 5:08PM, Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at St. John's Medical Center.

He was born on August 25, 1926 in Vinita, OK the son of Floyd R. Gleason and Olive R. Bero. He was a retired consulting engineer and a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He had been a resident of the area for the past 17 years, previously of Lombard, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Rosemary Ann Gleason nee O'Brien of Blue Eye, MO., three children; James N. Gleason and wife Susan of Champaign, IL.,Mary E. Best and husband Robert of Waconia, MN., John P. Gleason and wife Dawn of Indianapolis, IN., one brother; Robert R. Gleason and wife Maxine of Vinita, OK., and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son David R. Gleason. Visitation will be from 9:30 am til service time at 11 on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the funeral home.

NOTE - While this obituary mentions the funeral services at the Funeral Home in Branson, it does not specifically state the location of the burial. It is assumed that the burial was on the same day and the location was either Taney County or Stone County, Missouri
