Lewellyn married Mary Bella Rhone, daughter of Jacob Harvey Rhone and Clara May Lightfoot, on 23 March 1919 in Shippensburg, PA.¹ (Mary Bella Rhone was born in November 1889 in Shippensburg, PA ^{2 3} and died in 1950.)

  Marriage Notes:

Mary Bella Rhone indicated on the marriage license that she had been previously married and was divorced in Cumberland County Court on 2 July 1917 on grounds of desertion.

This license was issued on 22 Mar 1919 in Dauphin County, PA which is where both Lewellyn and Mary lived. At the bottom, the minister stated that he then performed the marriage ceremony on 3 Mar 1919 in Shippensburg, PA which was 19 days prior to the actual issuance of the license. Perhaps he meant to write 23 instead of 3 so therefore I am assuming that the actual marriage should be 23 Mar 1919 instead of the 3 Mar 1919 that is so often indexed and referenced by other researchers.
