bullet General Notes:

The name of Loretta does not appear on any census records with her parents nor is any birth document found with that name. Instead, the name Maryanne appears on the 1870 and 1880 census living with her parents.

However, the death certificate clearly gives the name of Loretta Braden and the parents as Henry Keefer and Barbara Culler. The birth date of 5 Sep 1867 is about 6 weeks before the supposed birth date for Maryanne and I suspect that the two are the same person especially considering that the mother indicated on the 1900 census that she had a total of only 5 children whereas the addition of the name Loretta would seem to incorrectly indicate a total of 6.
