¹ Lorraine M. Renton of Marinette, WI was summoned to Heaven on her 87th birthday. The former Lorraine M. Schmidt was born August 5, 1928, in Marinette, WI to Henry and Minnie (Kamin) Schmidt.

Lorraine was a 1946 graduate of Marinette High School. She married Gilbert Renton on November 23, 1946 in Marinette.
For many years she was employed at Lauerman Bros. Department Store, retiring on September 5, 1987, when the store closed. Lorraine was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and was an active and past member of the Ladies Aid, Mission Society, the Altar Guild, choir, Luther Home Communion Service, Lutheran Women's Mission Society and the Sunshine Club. She was also a member of the Bay Area Medical Center Auxiliary, Friends of the Stephenson Public Library, Marinette Woman's Club and the Menominee American Legion Auxiliary. Although active in the community, Lorraine cherished her family most and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Lorraine is survived by two daughters: Sharon Malmstadt-Rupert of Marinette, WI and Sue (Wayne) Conner of Menominee, MI; one son, Steven (Lori) Renton of Scappoose, Oregon; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; a daughter, Sandy; her parents, Henry and Minnie Schmidt; and a brother, Don.

Friends may call at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marinette on Sunday, August 9, 2015, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jon Tesch and the Rev. Frederick Mueller officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Gary Malmstadt, Jim Rastall, Jason Schaefer, Simon Malmstadt, Jesse Adams, Zachary Milbach, Dylan DeMille and Ed Barber.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
