2 William J. "Bill" Lightfoot, 65, of Granville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 19, 2012. He was the husband of Judy F. (Wolf) Lightfoot with whom he was married for 47 years last January 16.
Bill retired in 2009 from Kunzler & Company, Inc.
Born October 27, 1946 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Russell Lightfoot and Dorothy (Kauffman) Lightfoot Nichols. Bill enjoyed old music and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, Linda married to Jeffrey Sheaffer, of Great Mills, MD, Karen married to Francis Taska, Jr., of Lancaster, Tracy Lightfoot; Sheila married to Calvin Earnest, all of Lewistown; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Beverly Grove, Wanda Markel, Sandra Clinger, Robert, Dennis and Steven Lightfoot as well as extended family and caring friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA 17551, on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 2PM (Visitation 1-2PM). Interment will be in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances can be made in Bill's memory to a charity of one's choice.
