bullet  General Notes:

Mollie led a much-traveled life. After being married to Ira G. Darner in Adair County, Iowa in 1902, they moved to nearby Wapello County, Iowa within 3 years. Within 3 more years they had moved to Alberta Province in Canada where she gave birth to her third child. Within 4 more years they moved south into Sweet Grass, Toole County, Montana where she gave birth to her 4th and final child. By then her marriage with Ira was much troubled and they physically split up. The 1920 US Census shows her living in Colorado with 3 of her 4 children probably near where her brother resided.

By 1928 she was back in Sweet Grass, Toole County, Montana where she married Alonzo C. Edwards. The 1930 US Census shows her living with her 2nd husband along with her 2 sons. One of her daughters was married in Sweet Grass in 1924.

By 1933, Mollie was married for the 3rd time in Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana to Grover C. Jordan. The 1940 US Census shows her living alone once again along with her 2 sons. The location of her 3rd husband is not known

She died in 1954 in Flathead County, Montana and is buried in the Fairview Cemetery at Columbia Falls, Flathead County, Montana under the name Mollie Jordan where her 3rd husband is also buried. Her obituary does not mention any husband by name other than the names of her sons, Carl and Gene Darner.
