Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Frances Herrell, 87, Arizona pioneer who died Thursday in a Phoenix hospital, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Arizona Funeral Home chapel, 376 N. Third Ave. Burial will be in a Double Butte Cemetery, Tempe. Mrs. Herrell, born in Texas, came to Arizona in a covered wagon with her parents when she was eight. The family settled first in Cochise County. She moved to the Phoenix and Gila Bend area 20 years ago. She resided in Gila Bend. She was the mother of the late Robert Clay Herrell, an inspector for the Arizona Livestock Sanitary Board at Gila Bend, and was the wife of the late Robert L. Herrell. She is survived by six grandchildren, Miss Mildred and Robert L. Herrell, both of San Diego; James Johnson, Elko, NV.; Paul and Warner Herrell, both of Phoenix; and Ralph Herrell, of Gila Bend; a sister, Mrs. J. H. Lacey, San Simon; and nine great grandchildren.
