bullet  General Notes:

Fred's birth date seems to be a bit of a mystery. The question seems to be if his year of birth was either 1881 or 1882. On his 1900 US Census, he gave a date of May 1879 which cannot be a correct date otherwise he would have been listed with his parents on their 1880 US Census.

On his 1910, 1920, 1930, and 1940 US Census records, his age provided would seem to indicate a birth year of 1881. His gravestone has the year 1881 on it.

However, his draft registration cards for both WW I and WW II have the birth date of 21 Nov 1882 on them. His Social Security Death Record also has his birth date as 21 Nov 1882. His Ohio death certification record also had his birth date as 21 Nov 1882.
