On her grave marker, the name is somewhat difficult to clearly read and appears to be a first and middle name that are very unusual. The letters are cut in relief in a small semicircle. What may be a first and middle name may also be just one long first name (Orieaita?). Her gravestone is a small urn-like monument about 10 inches square at the base and circular shaped at the top with an overall height of about 16 inches. All lettering is quite small and closely packed together. The inscription appears to read "Orie Aita, dau. of G & (?) Allison, Died Dec. 22, 1878, Aged 6y 11m 22d". The gravestone is right next to her parents in Boynton Cemetery.
