  General Notes:

The 1850 US Census shows his sister Pernira to be the same age of 7 as himself which would mean that they were twins with a birth year of 1843. However, the gravestone for George indicates a birth year of 1841. The 1860 census indicates a birth year of 1843 for George. These two census records suggest that George's gravestone has the wrong birth year of 1841 instead of 1843.

George's death certificate has his son, John L. Allison, as the informant. For some strange reason, George's mother's name was listed as "Nancy LaRue" instead of Maria Arnsberger. Is it possible that could be true as there is something strange about George being born in 1843 with another sister also being born in 1843. There was no mention of them being twins. See the comments about Pernina Allison.

There is compelling evidence that John Allison was previously married to Nancy LaRue and that Maria Arnsberger was previously married to Jacob Steel. John brought his son, George, into the relationship with Maria Arnsberger who brought her daughter, Pernina, into the relationship.
