There is a marriage record for a Joshua Webb m. Polly Lucas in Amherst Co. VA date of marriage: Sept. 12, 1839.

NOTE - This may not be the same Joshua Webb but if it were a different marriage for the same Joshua Webb, then there would be a conflict in some of the birth dates for the children of Mary Lucas which ranged from "about 1835 to about 1842. One other possibility is that "Polly" was a nickname for Mary A. Lucas. It could be an additional marriage altogether as Mary Lucas was supposedly born in Virginia making this other marriage in Virginia plausible.
