Tommy Gene Alsup, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2000. He was born to Clyde and Velma Alsup on August 21, 1940, along with twin brother, Johnny Alsup. He graduated from Bristow High School in 1958, helping lead Bristow to its only Men's State Basketball Championship in 1958. He married Darlene Willeford on November 28, 1959. Tommy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1963. He servied in several divisions before retiring from the State of Oklahoma Welfare Dept. He is survived by his mother; four sisters, two brothers, wife, Darlene; two sons, Brian Alsup and Jason Alsup, daughter-in-law April, and granddaughter, Tatum. Tommy's greatest love and accomplishment in life was his family. He touched so many people and always put other people first. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Cathedral of the Hills, located at 15th and Bryant in Edmond, under the directions of Baggerley Funeral Home.
