Florence Matilda Allison ^{1 2}

  General Notes:

According to the gravestone for Florence, she died in 1877. However, the 1880 US Census for the family lists a daughter "Flora" aged 3 which means she was born in 1877. If these are the same person, then the gravestone could have the birth date erroneously listed as the date of death. Or she may have died in 1877 but for some reason, the parents chose to continue to list her name as part of the family for the 1880 US Census.

Another thought is that they were not the same person and there was a different daughter born in 1877 named "Flora".

  Death Notes:

Florence was listed on the 1880 US Census however she was missing on the 1900 US Census. Her mother indicated on the 1900 US Census that she had a total of 4 children that were born and only 2 were still alive (Willis and Mila). Therefore, Florence must have died between 1880 and 1900.

• She has alternate birth date of 1877 and a birth location of Ohio.

This birth year was referenced by her age of 3 on the 1880 US Census.

• She was buried after 18 August 1877 in the Boynton Cemetery in Stryker, OH.

Supposedly the gravestone indicates that she died "aged 3y 1m 13d" which when calculated from her supposed date of birth in 1874 would mean that she died in 1877. But that contradicts the fact that she was listed on the 1880 US Census.
