• Her obituary was published after 7 July 2012. Patricia Ann (Ernspiger) Pavey, 86, Anderson, passed away July 7, 2012 at Countryside Manor, after an extended illness.
She was born June 13, 1926 in Evansville, Indiana.
She was a 1944 graduate of Evansville Central High School and received her nursing degree from Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She loved being a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she was involved in Widows in Action and was known for her encouraging cards and letters. She volunteered for United Cerebral Palsy.
She is survived by her children, Richard Pavey of Columbus, Ohio, Mark Pavey (Brenda) of Acworth, Georgia, and Mary Ellen Trueblood (Tim) of Pendleton; siblings, Bettye Kimmel, Joan Ernspiger, Mary Ellen Gulledge (Frank) and Dick Ernspiger (Eole); grandchildren, Allison Grant (Matt), Abby Whittington (Skyler), Molly Trueblood, Ashley McKinney (Andrew), and Samantha Pavey; and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Pavey on January 20, 1997; parents, Richard & Ellen (Wilhelmus) Ernspiger; and son, John Bradley Pavey.
A special thank you to the staff at Countryside Manor and Seasons Hospice.
Services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Cable officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
