⁴ Services for Raymond G. Stratton, of Muscatine, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Stratton died Friday, June 4, 1999, at his home. He established Stratton Trucking in 1972, which he operated until 1994. Before that, he worked at Bandag Inc. He was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Conesville. He married Clara Newcomb in 1953 in Muscatine. He was a veteran of the Korean War. A memorial fund has been established.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Connie Reynolds, and sons, Larry S., Harold "Fritz," Fred, Todd and Jason, all of Muscatine; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Frieda Wehmeyer and Betty Stinson, both of Muscatine; and brothers, Harold, Davenport, and Fred "Burk," Sacramento, Calif.
