bullet  General Notes:

Following the death of her husband in 1895, Eunice probably attempted to stay in the Cedar County area. Her oldest daughter was married about 7 years earlier in 1888 and it is believed that she and her husband immediately moved to Oklahoma. Eunice's son, Neal, was married in 1893, but moved to the city of Muscatine in 1904 or shortly before.

In 1906, Eunice, a widow at the age of 56, moved to the city of Muscatine probably wanting to be closer to her married son, Neal. Moving with Eunice were her two remaining sons, James, age 37, and Luke, age 24, plus her one remaining daughter, Susie, age 19. They all lived in one house at 512 East 11th Street in Muscatine, while her married son, Neal, with his wife, Lucy, lived at 1005 Iowa Avenue in Muscatine.
