Vietta is the given name as shown in the Wymer Family Bible. When she was in her 20s, she shortened her name to just Etta and went by the name for the rest of her life.

When Daniel and Vietta moved to Oklahoma shortly after the birth of their second (or perhaps third) daughter in 1895, it appears that two of her brothers, James and Luke Wymer, also eventually ended up in Drummond, Oklahoma.
Her brother, James, went to Oklahoma probably shortly after the death of Vietta's husband, Daniel Doty in 1915. James appears in the 1910 Census in Iowa but is shown as living with his widowed sister in the 1920 census.
The other brother, Luke, went to Oklahoma some time after his mother died in 1930 in Muscatine, Iowa.
