bullet  General Notes:

Because of the lack of birth documents and information, it is not known for sure if his middle name was Corker or Lightfoot. In 1918, when Luke registered for the World War I Draft, he used the name Luke Lightfoot Wymer. His mother entered his name as Luke L. Wymer for the 1885 Iowa State Census, the 1910 US Census, and the 1920 US Census. After his mother died in 1930, Luke used the middle initial of C for Corker on the 1940 US Census. His obituary used the middle initial of C. and his gravestone has the middle initial of C.
-------------------------------------------

Luke apparently went to Oklahoma some time after his mother died in 1930. The obituary for his mother in 1930 indicates that he lived in Muscatine, Iowa. The obituary for his brother, Neal C. Wymer, in 1942 indicates that Luke lived in Drummond, Oklahoma. Luke died unmarried.
