The Biser Name has been spelled Beisser, Beyser, Bessier, Beser. Jacob was the recognized patriarch of the Bisers as we know them. There are several pages devoted to his life in the book entitled "Jacob Beyser and Family 1989." He came to this country arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 25 Oct 1746 aboard the ship Neptune. Brethren Church; Also listed as a Quaker.
