Jacob Biser was apparently a farmer and landowner. He migrated with his family to Frederick County, Maryland in 1767. He purchased land in 1784 and sold it in 1793. He moved on to Hampshire, Virginia and settled in the Mill Creek (Keyser/Romney) area.
