Frank H. Cutshall (1876-1943) was a leader in business and banking circles here for many years. He was a native of Allen County, and educated in Fort Wayne public schools.

Following his long and distinguished banking career he was president of Wayne Hardware Co., First Joint Stock Lank Bank, and chairman of the board of directors of American Steel Dredge Co., and American Steel Supply, Co.

He was formerly president of the Old National Bank and its successor, the Old First National Bank and Trust Co.

• His obituary was published in August 1943 in Allen County, IN. 7 Funeral services for Frank H. Cutshall, 67, of 2401 Fairfield Avenue, who died at 2:50 o'clock Wednesday morning at McCray Memorial hospital in Kendallville, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence. Rev. Carl G. Adams, pastor of Simpson Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lindenwood cemetery. The body will be taken home at noon today from Kisehn & Sons funeral home, and friends may call at the home, after that time. It is asked that flowers be omitted.

Mr. Cutshall, a leader in business and banking circles here for many years, died of myocarditis resulting from asthma, following a months illness. He was a native of Allen county. Born on a farm near Wallen, he was educated in Fort Wayne public schools.

At the time of his death he was president of the Northern Indiana Agency, Inc., the Wayne Hardware company, and the First Joint Stock Land Bank; was chairman of the board of directors of the American Steel Dredge company and the American Steel Supply Company; was manager of Fairfield Manor Inc; receiver for the First and Tri-State corporation; director of the Old First National bank at Bluffton, the Horton Manufacturing company, General Dredging company, Inc., and the Greater Fort Wayne Development company, and was the vice-president and director of the Fort Wayne Dairy Equipment company.

He started his business career as a young man with the Northern Indiana Gas and Electric company. He later worked for the South Bend Traction company and the Lima, Wapakoneta and Celina Gas Company before returning to Fort Wayne. He formerly was vice-president and later president of the Old National Bank and Trust company, and served as treasurer of the Fort Wayne Red Cross chapter during World War I. He was a member of Summit City lodge No. 170, F. and A. M. Scottish Rite consistory and was a member and treasurer of Mizpah Shrine Temple.
Mr. Cutshall was married to the former Miss Daisy Dean of Eau Claire, Wis. in 1907. Survivors include the wife; a son, Capt. Dean F. Cutshall, in the army stationed in Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Beaver and Mrs. Amelia Durbot of this city, and a brother, Theodore Cutshall of Detroit, Mich.

The son will continue to operate the Northern Indiana Agency, Inc. He has been vice-president of the firm.
