The Edward and Shirley Wheeler Family Home Page has a report titled "Descendents of John Danner Sr." in which they have Joshua Danner as having only 4 children. Our info indicates that Joshua Danner had 9 children. One of their's listed is Alex Danner (b. Apr 1873). We do not have any info on Alex. Also listed is Oliver N. Danner (b. 7 May 1873; d. 10 Jan 1926; m. Kate E. Haines) We do not have any info on him either. We do show an Oliver Nathaniel Danner (b. 1901), and this is factual info as this is Liz's grandfather. He is the son of George W. Danner, the son of Joshua Danner. There are differences in info that Shirley Wheeler and Ray Danner has given us.
NOTE - The name of Oliver Danner appears with the family on the 1880 census. His age was given as 7 which means he was born about 1873. This year of 1873 also was given as the birth year of Alex Danner by the Wheeler Family Home Page as detailed above. This would mean that either Alex and Oliver were twins or they were the same person. Because Alex was not listed with the family on the 1880 census when he would have been about 7 years old, yet the name of Oliver does appear, therefore it seems probably that Alex and Oliver were the same person.
The web pages of Edward and Shirley Wheeler currently reside at "http://www.genealogy.com/ftm/w/h/e/Edward-N-Wheeler/GENE1-0002.html" but as of August 2015 those pages continue to show only 4 children and provide the year of 1873 as the birth year for both Alex and Oliver Danner.

Ray Danner had info that showed Joshua Danner married "Virginia (Unknown)" on 26 Aug 1859, which is three years after he married Elizabeth Chilling. Ray Danner also has Elizabeth Chilling's name as "Mary Ann Shelling". With the marriages being three years to the exact date, there is a question as to the validity of the name and marriage to "Virginia (Unknown)". We received the info of Joshua's wife being Elizabeth Chilling from Aunt Mate (Matiabell), taken from the Danner Family Bible. (Jerry Nebergall)

The 1880 and 1900 census shows that "Jennie" was born in 1859 therefore the marriage date probably was not on 26 Aug 1859. The 1900 census shows that she had been married for "22 years" therefore the marriage date was about 1878. (Brian Lightfoot)
